Remembering my Redeemer teachers
Here's a list of things I remember from 1st-8th grades, see if you can help me out here (I know the answers mind you, just sharing):
1st - Mrs Funk had a last name I had a hard time getting used to. What was the other 1st grade teacher's name?
2nd - What did Mrs Reardon collect?
3rd - What was Mrs Stenzel's favorite musical instrument?
4th - To get our attention, Mrs Jambor must have broke all of these after throwing them at the ceiling. What were they?
5th - Name the engineering marvel that Mrs Lejeune's husband helped design.
6th - Mrs DeBow's son was an extra in this movie, name it.
7th - Most of us were in Mrs Ward's class watching on TV when this event happened.
8th - Mrs Hofbauer was fluent in what other language besides English?

memories
I came across a binder of saved documents from back in the day today... Amongst them was our "Class of '87" memoirs booklet, a "Z-95 Street Sheet" of the week's top songs when we graduated, and other assorted childhood fun stuff. I re-read everything in the memoirs booklet and had a real good laugh~! "Worst temper"? Naaahh... not me! ;)
Makes me think, any of this stuff in an old cardboard box in your closets? Anything you might want to share at a reunion get-together? I'm sure there's lots of accumulated memories amongst the bunch of us. If anyone has thoughts of something along these lines, but adding 25 years onto it, it would be entertaining to say the least.
How'd we all turn out? Did we become what we, or anyone else, imagined we'd be? Did we totally go left-field and become something unexpected?
So, an "update" booklet of some sort is my idea. Good or bad idea? Anyone want to participate? Also, I was thinking of an mp3 playlist of those songs collected on a CD or something. I can get all of them if anyone's interested.

April 2010 update...
Look at the list in the bottom-most post, friends... I have now heard from all but 6 of the "official" graduates from our class as of 03apr10. Pretty good so far! Again, if anyone knows those missing an asterisk in front of their names, please get a hold of them and direct them here when you get a moment!

Been 8 months now
Everyone note, at best we're still in the 'gathering' stage, nothing definite planned yet. Some of you have expressed interest in helping organize etc. When the time comes, I will definitely include all offered help! But that time is a bit of a ways off.
Any ideas though - e.g. golf outing the day of? (I never golfed a day in my life, that'd actually be funny.)
We can kick a few thoughts around.

New Arrivals...
FYI: As I get in touch with people who I hadn't heard from before (mostly via FaceBook, pretty kick-ass lookup tool~!) I am placing an asterisk by their names in the first blog post from 7-Jan.
If you have any questions about who what where etc or can't get in touch with someone who is on my friends list there, let me know.

Date to do this
For those of you who have shown interest so far, thanks so much! A quick thought in response to setting an actual date for a reunion: We should have the most response possible before going ahead with this in my opinion.
Nobody, I am sure, would like it if we go and have a get-together, and they didn't know about it first - if at all.
I published this blog's first entry on January 7th, 2009. That's two days so far! Before we go and get all rushed actually establishing a date, let's give it a while to brew first.
(That means all you type-A project managers need to relax!)
I sent notice to everyone I've been in touch with of this blog's existence - some folks may need time to ponder being involved first. A few of you have knowledge of where the rest of the missing members may be: tell them to check the site out! The link is:

Copy and paste that in any correspondence you send them. I think if we make the effort to get everyone possible to show up / a positive response first, then we can move on.
